Gloria has been in the beauty industry for 14 years and a licensed cosmetologist for the past 6. Recently, she has become an educator at PCI Academy in Iowa City, with a long-term goal of returning to her home country to share her passion for hair. Her areas of focus include haircuts, braids, and special events makeup and updos. She is passionate about enhancing everyone’s personal experience any time she is behind the chair.

Originally from DR Congo, Gloria is fluent in French, Swahili, Lingala, and English, and she’s currently learning Spanish. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, cleaning and organizing, and takes pride in caring for the environment. She also finds peace in solo travel, especially when it comes to international adventures.
